Stantonbury announced as new host partner!
We are pleased to announce the latest host partner to join our BAT Family; Stantonbury International School in Milton Keynes.
Stantonbury is home to a great sports facility including the City of Milton Keynes Swimming Club, and is managed by an excellent team of professional staff directed by former European, Commonwealth and European Masters Swimmer, Sarah Collings. A spokesperson for the school said:
“We here at both Stantonbury International School and the Griffin Schools Trust are delighted to become a host partner with Becky Adlington Training. Encouraging our students to pursue a life of sport is a primary goal of ours and alongside a wealth of facilities, making partnerships such as this will help them aspire to continue their learning and education in others areas. Our community will benefit from high quality training opportunities as well as benefiting the children on our learn to swim programmes. We look forward to launching the partnership within our community.”
Director of Sport, Sarah works across 13 schools to develop opportunities for children to participate, excel and forge careers in sport, so it was a natural step to develop a partnership with us here at Becky Adlington Training. Now, we can work together to provide opportunities for training, qualifications and employment in the South East, as well as an avenue for individuals to develop and continue their love for swimming, both as participants through great quality lessons and as opportunities to teach and develop careers in leisure. Discussing the latest partnership, Becky said:
“I’m so excited to have Stantonbury come on board as host partners for Becky Adlington Training and provide opportunities in the South East. We share the same passion for all things swimming and together we can continue to develop high-quality, fully trained Swim England teachers from our training programme – which has not only been designed to pass on the best professional knowledge, but also our ethos of what makes a great teacher”.
